Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility has long been a part of HSBC's corporate character and tradition.
HSBC supports the communities in which we operate both through the involvement of our employees as well as through community sponsorships and donations. We focus our community support on education and the environment.
In Australia we run HSBCkids, a tutoring and mentoring program for underprivileged children, as well as a Financial Literacy Education Program; both joint initiatives with Barnardos.
We also demonstrate our commitment to the environment through our "Towards Sustainable Horticulture" project at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney.
