In the wake of the Victorian bushfire tragedy, HSBC Bank Australia will provide assistance to both customers and victims affected by the crisis.
HSBC is currently contacting all customers in the communities affected, offering practical assistance and working to provide relief to alleviate some of the burden and stress of the disaster.
Stuart Davis, chief executive officer for HSBC in Australia, said: "Our thoughts are with all the people affected by the fires - residents of the area, as well as the emergency services working to control the situation."
"HSBC is working to ease the burden for customers affected by the bushfires and we will do our best to assist at this difficult time," said Davis.
