1. Call 132 152
2. Enter your card number
3. Follow the prompts to register your account for our automated banking services
4. Once registered, select the card activation option and follow the prompts
Your card will be activated once this is completed successfully.

4. Select the card activation option and follow the prompts. You'll need the Additional Card Number and Expiry Date.

You will automatically be issued with a four digit PIN number for use with your new HSBC credit card. For security purposes, this will be sent to you separately, after the card itself.

Your first statement will be sent within four weeks of the first transaction on the account (this can include balance transfers and annual fees), regardless of whether or not the card is activated. The statement will clearly show the minimum repayment amount (if applicable) and the due date for payment.
