With HSBC Landlord Insurance, you can be covered for your building and/or contents and for added peace of mind also protect your property from malicious damage by your tenants. Having adequate Landlord Insurance can assist in protecting your building, your contents and the income your property generates.
Landlord insurance - key features
- Insurance protection for a range of defined events including: fire or smoke, tsunami, storm, rainwater or run-off.
- Up to 52 weeks cover for loss of rent after an insured event.

Optional Additional Landlord Cover

Landlord Insurance discounts - Tenant default cover option for 15 weeks rent to a maximum of $10,000.
^ Maximum payment for contents will be the lesser of $10,000 or up to the remainder of the sum insured after payment of your buildings claim.

2 To qualify for the maximum No Claim Bonus of 30%, customers must have had no landlord insurance in the preceding five years.
