What does loan insurance cover?
- Death benefit pays-out loan balance owing up to $30,000.
- Disability benefit pays your monthly loan repayment up to $750 per month (conditions apply).
- Involuntary Unemployment benefit pays your monthly loan repayment for up to three months and up to $750 (conditions apply).
- Protection applies for the full term of your loan with HSBC (conditions apply).
Who is eligible for loan insurance?
- Any HSBC car or personal loan customer permanently residing in Australia
- 18 to 60 years of age when your policy begins
- engaged in permanent employment for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the policy start date
