Step 1. Apply for an Online Savings Account with HSBC.
Please note applicants who are under the age of 18 are not eligible to open an Online Savings Account. Non-Australian residents are not eligible to open an Online Savings Account online.
Step 2. Once your account has been approved, you will receive your Online Savings Account details.
Step 3. Apply for an E*TRADE account and nominate your Online Savings Account into which E*TRADE will credit and debit funds for share trades.
Note that your nominated Online Savings Account must be in the name of, or include the name of, your E*TRADE account.
