To help you with transferring your regular payments to your new HSBC Account, we've developed a quick step-by-step guide to make it as easy as possible.

 

Before you get started, have this information handy:

  • Your new HSBC Account details (BSB, Account Number, Account Name)
  • Details of your regular payments (e.g. Utility payments, insurance, memberships, subscriptions)

Then follow these simple steps:

Switch your salary credit from your old account to your new HSBC Account
Download and print the Salary Transfer form, complete it and provide it to your employer.

Transfer your direct debits
Download and print the Direct Debit Transfer form, complete it and send it to your service provider. Complete one form for each service provider.

Transfer your direct credits
Download and print the Direct Credit Transfer form, complete it and send it to your service provider. Complete one form for each service provider.

Close your old account
Once your regular payments have been transferred to your new HSBC account, you can close your old account.

Allow time for all your regular payments to transfer. Once your regular payments have been transferred to your HSBC account, you can close your old account. You should contact your other bank to do this.
