Getting Started

To access Phone Banking, you will need a Personal Banking Number (PBN) and a Personal Identification Number (PIN).

If you are an existing HSBC customer and DO NOT have a PBN and PIN, simply follow the steps below:

Step 1

Click here to download and complete the application form

Step 2

Once we have received your completed form, your PBN and PIN will be mailed to you

Step 3

Once you receive your PBN and PIN, simply call 1300 308 008 (English) or 1300 309 388 (Cantonese/Mandarin) and press option 1 to use Phone Banking

Hearing or speech impaired?

Users who are deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment can call through the National Relay Service:

  • TTY or computer with modem users: Call 133 677, then ask for 1300 308 008
  • Speak and listen (speech to speech relay) users: Call 1300 555 727, then ask for 1300 308 008

Security Tips

If you suspect someone has access to your Phone Banking PIN, immediately call us on
1300 308 008 (or +61 1300 308 008 from overseas).
