How to submit a claim

HSBC understands the importance of having a simple, efficient and reliable claims service in times of need. That's why at HSBC we can assist you to lodge your claim, organise assessors, repairers and trades people and keep you up to date with your progress.

What will you need?

To help you complete your claim, you should have the following details at hand before you start:

  • Your policy number;
  • Information about the incident, such as the date and where the damage occurred, etc.;
  • Details about the loss or damage you are claiming for; and
  • Information about any other people, vehicles or property involved.

Over the phone - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week claims service

You can call the claims hotline on 1300 555 030 and a consultant will help you commence the claims process.

If you are from a non-English speaking background, we will aim to provide you with a claims consultant who can speak your language. Simply ask us when you speak to your first consultant.

Our claims consultants will discuss with you the appropriate and suitable solutions in helping you get back on your feet. Our consultants will advise you of the claims process and answer any of your queries.

Claim online

A convenient way to lodge an insurance claim is via the online claim form You can commence submitting your claim notification 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

All you need to do is complete the online claim form Once it is lodged, a friendly claims consultant will contact you as soon as possible.

Life Insurance is no longer available through HSBC

If you have an existing HSBC Easy Life Insurance policy and need a copy of your Product Disclosure Statement, need to make a claim on your policy or need information please call Allianz on 1300 362 108.
