Warrants

If you're looking for greater exposure in an asset class, you can trade in Warrants as easily as you trade shares. Warrants are issued to achieve higher leverage to underlying shares, indices, currencies, commodities and listed managed investments such as Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).

Interest rate securities

Interest Rate Securities are debt investments that offer you the opportunity to lend capital to a company, financial institution or government. In return, you receive regular interest payments (either a fixed or floating rate of return) and the return of capital at maturity. There are three main types of Interest Rate Securities traded on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX): Australian Government Bonds, Corporate Bonds and Hybrid Securities.

Convertible Notes

Take the opportunity to invest in Convertible Notes and profit from a company's growth. A convertible note is essentially a loan to a new business that at a triggered event will be repaid in shares.

Preference Shares

When you invest in a Preference Share, as a holder, you rank ahead of holders of ordinary shares for the payment of dividends and recovery of capital.

Capital notes

Capital notes are debt securities that have equity-like features attached.
