How to change your credit limit

You can change your credit card limit to enjoy extra financial flexibility or better manage your spending.

Online banking

It's easy to change1 your credit card limit. You can do it online in just a few simple steps.

  1. Log on
  2. Go to My banking > Credit Card Services > Increase Credit Limits
  3. Complete the online form to request a new credit card limit.

By phone

You can also request to decrease your credit card limit by calling our customer service hotline.

HSBC Premier customers:

1300 301 168 (or +61 2 9005 8192 if calling from overseas)

Other customers: 132 152 (or +61 2 9005 8511 if calling from overseas)
